About the Role
The Quality Assurance Analyst will help us continue to build quality into our disruptive SaaS applications. You will be a self-organising critical thinker that
fosters a "quality culture" and is methodical in your approach to testing
Software testing through the UI and API
Carrying out exploratory testing
Creating and executing test cases in Azure DevOps
Proactively suggesting ways to improve quality within the team’s processes and the product
Work as a member of a cross-functional scrum team to build in quality at every stage of the development lifecycle
Raising and triaging bugs in Azure DevOps
A minimum of 3 years’ experience testing web-based applications
A passion for software testing and quality
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Experience using Postman for API testing is desirable
An understanding of various testing types, such as Integration, Unit, Performance, Regression, Stress, Smoke etc.
Experience of working in Agile / Scrum based environments
A positive, enthusiastic personality
Good team working skills but also the ability to work autonomously
A can-do attitude and eagerness to learn
Innovative and creative approach to work and problem solving
Test automation experience is desirable
Up to £40,000 per annum dependent on experience.
Additional benefits include contributory pension, private medical, benefits portal and 25 days holiday per annum rising to 30 with length of service.
