About the role

Our e-invoicing solution is the exchange of a digital invoice document between a supplier and a buyer. An e-Invoice is the automatic generation of a digital version of every invoice, irrespective of how the invoice was initially received (paper or emailed PDF etc.)

Reporting directly to the E-Invoicing Manager, the E-Invoicing Specialist will be required to process large volumes of invoices using our bespoke and unique software through data entry, ruleset coding and electronic AI and Machine learning. Our software provides 80% automation and 20% of this is delivered through our service and learning capabilities. This role consists of aiding the learning of our engine by informing it of the data locations within a document and informing it of decisions it needs to amend.

Essential skills

  • Accurate, diligent, organized and conscientious.

  • High level of numeracy and literacy skills

  • A positive 'can-do' attitude.

  • An understanding the fundamentals of invoicing and (basic) finance procedures

  • Flexible, self-motivated and a willingness to learn new tasks.

  • Willingness to be innovative and work under own initiative.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to agreed SLA’s.

  • Sound judgement skills with a rational and flexible approach to work.

  • A strong Team Player

  • Ability to work under pressure

Desirable skills

  • Experience of working within a Finance function

  • Experience working within a Purchase Ledger Role
