About the Role
Due to growth, Compleat Software are looking to hire a BA/Proxy Product Owner to work as part of an agile development team. You will be the pivotal link
between the voice of the end user and technical development team. You will contribute to the full software delivery cycle from the beginnings of a new
product idea, working with the delivery teams throughout implementation, verifying any new features are of high quality and then sharing all this
information with clients/ end users. You will come from a product-based environment, but the company are open to experience whether that be in project
management, application support or business analysis.
Leading refinement sessions to ensure requirements deliverables such as user stories, acceptance criteria and processes are understood, documented and prioritised
Capture and document business processes ('as-is' & 'to-be'), and technical specifications, where required
Working as part of a cross-functional Agile team, participating in stand ups, reviews, retrospectives, product demonstrations and prioritisation sessions
Support the Product Owner in prioritisation and analysis of the backlog. Be able to take on Product Owner role when required
Work closely with the Head of Product to understand the strategic vision for the business and help influence priorities and road maps
Act as domain expert and / or SMB for assigned Product or Project
Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information and distinguish user requests
Building mutually beneficial and sustainable relationships across the Business
Proactively managing workloads and any competing priorities, taking appropriate action to address potential issues that could impact delivery
What we are looking for:
Worked across the full lifecycle project in both structured and agile environments
Strong communication skills (Written & Verbal)
Confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Being comfortable with challenging business stakeholders on requirements to identify true underlying needs
Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
Able to adapt communication style to the audience to ensure engagement levels
Background knowledge in accounting, ERPs or eCommerce is desirable, but not essential
Up to £50,000 per annum dependent on experience
Additional benefits include contributory pension, private medical, benefits portal and 25 days holiday per annum rising to 30 with length of service.
