Compleat is a fast-growing cloud software business, backed by venture capital investors, and provides a unique business proposition to reduce costs and increase productivity of our clients.

As part of our growth we are creating new roles for one or more software implementation consultants, based in the UK, at either of our 2 office locations, as above, or home-based for suitably experienced candidates.

Compleat operates across 2 divisions, eCompleat and iCompleat. This role is for the eCompleat division which delivers broad footprint, enterprise grade solutions from SMEs to large corporates using guided implementation project methods capable of integration with any ERP/accounting software product. The iCompleat division is offering self-service invoice management applications to a mass market requiring minimal consulting intervention.

As with all client-facing roles, the work required will vary from time-to-time, the key areas of responsibility for our implementation consultants are as follows:

  • Undertaking projects to implement our cloud and web-based Purchasing and e-Invoicing software
  • Carrying out onsite workshops with small and large groups of key stakeholders to understand requirements and gather key configuration data and reporting needs
  • Installing and configuring our web-based software either in the cloud or on premise
  • Liaising with project management from initial sales handover following detailed scoping documents through to go live with complex task co-ordination and change management procedures
  • Carrying out training of our application procedures to end users and super users/administrators
  • Interacting with Middle Level and Senior Managers across various clients Working to tight deadlines
  • Retain ownership of client project working with our project managers through to go-live and handover to our Support team.

Compleat is a highly configurable and powerful Purchase to Pay (P2P) system with a range of supporting modules including Purchase Order Processing, Purchase Invoice Management, Contract Management, Employee Expenses, Timesheets and our innovative and disruptive, e-Invoicing solution.

We need people with exceptional levels of technical and application skills as well as the ability to hold a room and present the best solutions that Compleat has to offer. The ability to learn fast along with the ability to work independently under pressure and as part of a team and

ability to manage high workloads are key requirements. This person also needs to easily adapt to a constantly changing environment.

The ideal candidate(s) will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in delivering or supporting accounting software or web-based procurement products on behalf of a software manufacturer at a software vendor or at a major UK accounting software reseller or system integrator. Experience of dealing with high volumes of concurrent projects and working alone under delivery and time pressure is essential. A basic technical background in MS SQL Server and confidence working on deployed cloud and on-premise web applications is required although you will be supported by a team of technical consultants/DBAs to assist with integrations and more complex database tasks.

The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the capabilities to represent Compleat in all areas of a software implementation from project initiation through key project milestone phases into user acceptance testing and go-live.

As an implementation consultant, you will handle 50% of our projects onsite at our customers’ locations and 50% can be remote work; therefore, there should be an expectation of travel within the UK.

We operate a friendly, matrix management structure to allow staff to work with key colleagues across the business to assure customer success. Knowledge transfer and sharing internally and externally with our customers will be a key part of our success going forward.

Knowledge Skills Required:

Basic accounting knowledge covering key purchasing processes/conventions (including purchase ledger/accounts payable) and double entry concepts, ERP/financial accounting software application implementation/support experience. Excellent telephone manner and confident approach to problem solving along with excellent time management and communication skills. A sound appreciation of project management principles to aid working closely with our project management team will be beneficial to assure quality customer deliverables.
