TSG to sell 'Compleat' SME purchase to pay for Pegasus software

Compleat Software Limited today announces that it has signed leading IT Services Company TSG as the latest addition to its reseller programme. TSG will be offering the ‘Compleat’ purchase automation, spend control and employee expenses software solution to its 1,200+ installed base of Pegasus customers, the largest in the UK, as well as new customers using Pegasus accounting software.

TSG provides a full range of IT support, products and services to UK SMEs. Formed in 2003, TSG has made 23 acquisitions in the last seven years and today operates a network of 15 regional offices throughout the UK, with 460 staff serving thousands of customers across the country.

Kevin McCallum, Pegasus Product Director at TSG, comments, “Accounting software is the hub of most businesses these days, and our ongoing relationship with customers largely emanates from that one central point. We will initially be offering Compleat as an essential add-on to our 1,200 strong Pegasus customer base.”

McCallum continues, “TSG is constantly reviewing its portfolio to ensure that it delivers the best possible solutions to its customers, and we instantly recognised the benefits of offering a solution like Compleat. We are seeing a significant growth in client interest in ways to automate the painfully slow, paper-based purchasing process, and a desire amongst senior finance management to take ownership and control of corporate spend and deliver real cash savings that go straight to the bottom line. Compleat offers a strong and compelling proposition to UK SMEs in the current economic climate.”

McCallum adds, “Increasingly, there is a drive to add more functionality and intelligence to existing accounting systems, and to bring manual processes into the digital age. Compleat appears to be a unique solution that helps our Pegasus customers to achieve this; it fills a gap between low cost solutions that are lacking in functionality, and high end solutions that are too expensive for small businesses. Compleat is a highly affordable solution that does everything you need it to, delivering control over the business and locking down spend as and when appropriate. Furthermore, Compleat is extremely easy to use, and has many benefits in terms of financial reporting. It is a case of the right product, at the right price, at exactly the right time.”

Neil Robertson, CEO of Compleat Software, comments, “The decision from TSG to join our reseller programme is a real testament to the relevance and business potential of Compleat and a major achievement for the business. TSG is a powerful group with a national presence of 15 regional offices which adds considerable coverage and major potential to our business plans. I am really delighted to be working with TSG – a real powerhouse of the reseller world! Our team will be focused on making their offering a Compleat success for Pegasus software users!”

Robertson continues, “For our reseller partners, Compleat has opened the mass market with a functionally rich, easy-to-use, fast to deploy and affordable solution, responding to customer demand and enabling rapid growth in new business opportunities – currently with minimum competition on either functionality or price. We expect to be making further new partner announcements imminently.”

Compleat Spend Control enables web-based purchase order generation providing cashflow management and forecasting based on both actual spend and committed spend, which enables full commitment accounting.

Compleat Spend Control also provides the ability for the finance department to take centralised control over corporate budgets, ensuring that every requisition / purchase order is always in budget and included within the cashflow forecast automatically, delivering automated purchase ordering, centralised budget control and corporate cashflow management based on fact. It facilitates a consolidation of suppliers to maximise buying power and negotiate the best possible credit terms, generating the appropriate Terms & Conditions with each order, whilst also capturing the supplier’s performance to aid future negotiations.
